Meet Jené Howard
Restorative Wellness Practitioner
and Certified Natural Health Professional
After 15 years of working in the medical field, life threw me a curve ball that opened my eyes to God's great blessing of natural healing. I've been hooked ever since, and as my joy for this blessing grew, I found myself wanting to share it with others just as someone shared it with me. So, my journey into Naturopathy began, and I am constantly continuing to learn and grow in it daily.
My goal in practice everyday is to help people find the true root of an imbalance or weakness in the body and determine what natural support will be the most helpful in aiding the body's innate ability to heal itself. I love to work with all ages and stages of life from the youngest to the oldest. My practice encompasses everything from healthy prevention to chronic health conditions. I utilize muscles response testing, laboratory testing, lifestyle and nutritional modification, as well as herbal and nurtitional supplements and homeopathy. I believe true health encompasses the entire person: body, mind, and spirit. Clients who work with me will find I take time and true interest in the whole person as true healthcare should be.

Why Naturopathy?
It can help with

Digestion
Digestive health is crucial for overall well-being. The digestive system breaks down food and liquid into their chemical components—carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, and minerals—so the body can absorb these nutrients, use them for energy, and build or repair cells . It also plays a key role in immune function, as the gut is home to a large portion of our immune system. GI dysfunction can cause a host of uncomfortable symptoms that range from heartburn, constipation and diarrhea to headaches, skin rashes and mood disorders.
Women’s Health
Women's bodies go through so many changes and stresses over a lifetime. Menstrual cycles, pregnancy, lactation, years of caring for families, and into menopause, and women are likely to put their own health on the back burner for years as they care for others. If women can live a healthy lifestyle and find natural supports to keep their bodies balanced through all these challenges they face, they can avoid detrimental symptoms that make it hard to carry all of their responsibilities with more joy and vigor.

Fatigue
Fatigue can be a symptom of many underlying conditions. That's why naturopathy is the best way to really find the root cause so that true healing can occur.

Weight Loss
Weight loss can be tricky! Many factors can block a body's ability to loose excess weight in a healthy, sustainable way. Hormones, stress, hectic lifestyles, and the typical American diet are just a few of the aspects of healthy weight loss that must be taken into consideration in order to be successful.

Longevity
Naturopathy can assist with minimizing symptoms of any illness, supporting the body's capacity to heal, and balancing the body so that disease is less likely to occur in the future. A range of therapies are used to support the person and many of these are part of regime that can include self care.
Detoxification
While detox plays a major role in overcoming addiction, holistic detox can be beneficial for anyone. Detox is more than just an addiction treatment. Holistic detox is the process of removing any harmful toxins from the body. Not only are drugs and alcohol harmful, but so are the different chemical poisons that enter our bodies daily through pollution, household products, and more.

Stress
Stress triggers the body’s fight-or-flight response. Chronic stress can cause negative health effects on your mood, immune and digestive systems, and cardiovascular health. Symptoms of chronic stress's negative effect on the body can be headaches, fatigue, rapid breathing, depression, weakened immune system, insomnia, high blood sugar, high blood pressure, low libido, fertility problems, pounding heartbeat, and the list goes on and on! So you can see how important it can be to manage stress in a natural way.
